Could you use the electromagnetic force to drive a wedge, to open "the gate", allowing for complete utilization of the neodymium magnets force to work? Turning off electromagnetic pulls back the wedge. Putting magnetic unity back into place, or off.

What kind of amps did you get? Any idea how it works in salt water? Will it change it's mode of operation if the liquid is more conductive ? Btw. I've seen some really ancient aluminium salt water flow battery patents for torpedoes w. unbelievable output claims.. (Of course they were not designed to work for very long)

What comes to mind immediately, is that permanent magnet motor problem when the forces counteract the flow; if one could use the principle shown here to overcome that point...... Great food for thought! Thanks for sharing!

Hi there Rob, I have enjoyed the wide range of subjects that you seem to command. However, your explanations of some of the effects of wind generators are a little shaky and the amount of power generated is only a small fraction of your claim of a 1000watt wind generator. Having said that I do think that the size and quantity of magnets you employ would easily be capable of said watts but so far you seem to drift away from the true path to 1KW of power. The use of MW turntable motors is a very poor direction for the desired 1KW. Secondly the use of MW transformers is a far better direction to take although at 1KW output the cogging effect would be a great barrier to overcome. The addition of rectification and 1000UF smoothing did produce a somewhat unusual anti-cogging effect but would change the total output to| DC power instead of the more controllable AC power. I am not saying that you are wrong but that you need to stay focused on the main problem namely producing at the very least a 1/2 KW of AC power which can be used to off-set the main heating bills of the average home electricity consumer. Your videos are great and I hope I have not put any spokes in your wheel. My intention is to redirect your efforts into a more productive direction. Regards MoK

Richard, there is a difference between "heat" and "temperature" ... What's the difference ? You can't boil a pot of water with a candle; while the temperature is high enough (1000°C, 1800°F) there isn't enough heat energy (measured in "btus per hour" or in "watts"). For a "heater", we want the heat energy -- the temperature is (almost) un-important. A single wick candle or oil lamp or alcohol lamp has a maximum heat output of about 80 watts. Not much heat when you consider that a budget electric space heater makes 1500 watts of heat, or an electric home oven makes (30 amps * 220 volts) = 6600 watts of heat. Yes, you could use LOTS of candle flames or LOTS of oil lamp flames, or LOTS of natural gas flames, burning LOTS of fuel at once (for more heat) and add big fans to move the warm air around. That's been done -- it's called a "furnace". The furnace in my house is rated at 60,000 btu/hr that's the equivalent of 17,594 watts (1 btu/hr = 0.293 watts). My house is 2000 square feet, so that's an output of 17,594 / 2000) = 8¾ watts per square foot of living area. So your 80 watt "heater' can only reasonably be expected to heat (80 watts / 8¾ watts_per_square_foot) ~ 9 square feet. 9 square feet is not a room. It's barely a closet. Overall your device is a rather pathetic "heater" -- despite the fact that it achieves a (relatively) high temperature. Not trying to rain on your parade, or pee in the punch bowl. But in science the facts are the facts. There are no "alternate facts". You should pick up a high school Physics textbook. You could learn a lot.
